Our team, managed by an European person, is composed by men and women who perfectly know Guatemala, its people and its habits. Mayan Zone works under the principle of the “fair trade” with the local people. Also we prefer to work with suppliers, projects and communities of the country.

Guatemala, “the country of the eternal spring” is no doubt the most beautiful of Central America and may be of the whole Latin America. Three times the size of Belgium, Guatemala offers an extraordinary range of landscapes, weathers and people. You will find out a warm and fascinating country, the descendants of the Mayas. They still defend their ancestral traditions and their languages (there are more than 20!!).

There you may rest a few and drink an excellent coffee produced in one of the near farms. Antigua declared “World Heritage” always lives to the rhythm of three impressive volcanoes that surround it.

Guatemala also has coasts on the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Water lilies, natural reserves, hot water fountains, herons, pelicans, dolphins, will travel with you during your tours by “lancha”, the local small powered boat.
